The Worst Possible Escape

The Polish
BC: Nailtiques - Formula 2
Main: E.L.F. - Sea Escape, two coats
Glitter: Rainbow Honey - The Worst Possible Thing, one and a half coats
TC: one coat of American Classics - Gelous followed by one coat of Seche Vite

Oh my goodness, you guys, THIS GLITTER! I bought it used when I first started collecting, back when I only wore light colors. I knew it would look best over black, but I could never bear to purge it. Apparently I was saving it for THIS DAY when I could finally, lovingly wear it! <3

It's a bit goopy because of its age (a Google search tells me this collection came out in 2012), but I'll put in a few drops of thinner to clean that right up because I am looking forward to wearing this combo a lot! Apparently Sea Escape has become my go-to black for now, hah.

Wear: Removed on Day 4 with a couple of small chips

Sugar Rush

The Polish
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Sugar - Sugar Rush, two coats
TC: Seche Vite

I could have sworn there were pink hexes in this... right? Huh. Must have faded. From the looks of it, it must have happened sometime between February 2014 and June 2015. Gosh, I didn't realize how dated some of my stash is getting. Regardless, I don't think I'm digging this, and not because of the pink hexes. They've faded to a pale gold color, and it's not unpleasant. I'm just not feeling the lavender base, actually. So.. into purgatory with the rest of the giant box to deal with at some other time.

Wear: Slight lifting on Day 3, removed on Day 4.

Break the Ice, Princess

The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Undies: Wet n Wild - Break the Ice (Megalast line), two coats
Glitter: Liquid Sky Lacquer - Ice Princess, one coat
TC: Seche Vite

Hmm.. ignore the weird hair that's just hanging out in all my pictures for some reason.

We've had a wonderfully mild spring, but now I fear it's over. Today we're looking at 90, and tomorrow will be our first 100 day. Ugh. I need some winter, so it'll just have to be on my nails. *sigh* Eventually it'll be fall again.

Wear: There was a paint balloon fight this mani didn't survive, so only two days this time.

Tiny Tangerines

The Polish:
Treatment: OPI - Nail Envy
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Sonoma Bento - Tiny Tangerines, two coats
TC: Seche Vite

My nails are sad and peeling like it's mid-winter. Come on, guys, it's June! So I oiled them profusely and applied some Nail Envy. Hopefully that helps them get it together.

Tiny Tangerines is so freaking cute. I just love Sonoma Bento's crellies. She has a couple more on sale currently that I kind of want to get, but Airship is orange, and Flippin' Out is a very bright green... I think I may just have to stay with my safe light pink and nude. *blush*

Wear: Three days. I really really tried to keep it on until four, but once the chips started late evening of the third day, I began to scratch it off. At least I had enough sense in me to go get my scrubby tub instead of laying in bed destroying my nails.

Tiny Tangerines

The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Polish: Sonoma Nail Art - Tiny Tangerines, two coats
TC: One coat of American Classics - Gelous, followed by one of Seche Vite

Tiny Tangerines is Aroma in Tacoma's pink little sister. It has the same glitter in a nude base look, but a pale pink base and white, pink, aqua, purple, and iridescent glitters. The glitters were more finicky than I remember AiT's being, but maybe I'm just misremembering it. It's also still just a little rough, even through Gelous and SV, but that's probably because I had to dab the glitters on to get them to stay where I wanted them. Regardless, I super love the look. Very cute!

I decided after one day that I think maybe the glitters are too much for a whole mani. When I wear it again, I'll probably only wear it as an accent with a plain, sheer pink for the rest of the nails.

Wear: Four days, glitter chips at three.

Gah, I love this combination! So delicate and pretty, like a princess!
