The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Princess Kitten, a franken, three coats
TC: Seche Vite
I made this franken because apparently I forgot that I had Essence's Grey-T to Be Here, which I don't have any good pictures of but is a close dupe. *shrug* Oh well, still cute.
This franken is roughly equal parts KleanColor - Vanilla Villa and China Glaze - Travel in Color. I had it with more Travel in Color first, but it's too streaky to be that sheer. As is, I still had to wear three coats, which is more than I generally like.
Here's a picture with some random flowers that were in my yard. My husband and I don't do any yard work. We pay people to mow for us, and whatever comes up must be perennials.
Wear: Removed on day three with minimal wear.

Breathing HD Air
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Undies: Sally Hansen - Air (Smooth & Perfect line), two coats
Glitter: Milani - HD, one coat
TC: Seche Vite
Oh man, pictures just can't capture how much I love this mani. The soft blue with that glittery holo over it? Why you gotta be so non-photogenic, HD?
I was trying to do something similar to when I wore Sugar over Calla Lily here. I liked that one sooo much, the silvery holo over soft white. It DOES have that same delicate feel, but Sugar definitely worked better than HD. Sugar was a finer, denser glitter with a silvery haze-y feel while HD is almost chunky in comparison. Still gorgeous, just a little differently so!
Even beautiful in the shade!
Wear: Removed on day seven, though chips started on day five and were noticeable on six.

Shall We Catch Her Dancing?
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Jelly (layers 1 and 3): Sally Hansen - Shell We Dance? (Complete Salon Manicure)
Sandwiched (layer 2): The Lady Varnishes - Catch Me Dancing
TC: Seche Vite
Well, that was kind of a mess. I tried to do a little cleanup, but Catch Me Dancing was already drying, and I just made it worse. I need to thin it, but I don't have any thinner without heptane. (Heptane is bad for glitters.) Regardless! This mani HAS restored my faith in Catch Me Dancing. I was starting to think I didn't like it at all anymore, but turns out I just needed to put it in a jelly sandwich.
Wear: Removed at two days for something different.

Aerodynamic
The Polish:
Okay, all of this talk about, "It's actually green," and then one of my male friends asked, unprompted, "It that teal?" Bah! Whatever.
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Mod Lacquer - Aerodynamic, two coats
TC: Seche Vite
Aerodynamic is a green scattered holo that I almost mistook for a linear at first. It reminds me a lot of Sparkling Garbage, though opaque and with smaller holo particles. Jennifer lists it as turquoise on Etsy, but my bottle is definitely green. (I think it's an older version.)
More overcast skies and sub-optimal photo ops, boo! But at least the weather's been nice. Here's an indoor shot to show what shade I've been seeing most often, which usually looks to me like more of a hunter green. Yeah, the ones on the Etsy store must be an updated color. I definitely like mine. Though it's similar to Sparkling Garbage, it's different enough to warrant keeping both. :3

Wear: Six days, though some chipping started on day three because I didn't use cuticle remover before this one.

Wired-Up and Energized
The Polish:
BC: white glue
Main: Mod Lacquer - Energize, three coats
Accent Undies: China Glaze - Dandy Lyin' Around, two coats
Accent Glitter: Mod Lacquer - Wired-Up, one coat plus a little dabbing
TC: Seche Vite
Bam! Welcome to pink world! If you've ever thought to yourself, "I wish there was a rave on my nails," have I got some good news for you. Energize is incredibly neon pink, and Wired-Up is a colorful confetti party just dying to bask in the black light.
I put on three layers of Energize just to make sure it was completely opaque. It dries a little matte, as neons do, but that's what our awesome top coats are for, right?
Wired-Up has a mix of neon yellow, pink, blue, and green glitters in three different sizes, hexes and squares. The base is slightly yellow, but I really want to put it in a squishy jelly sandwich. :3
And just in case you don't believe how glowy Energize is, here's a picture I just had to take as I was sitting in my dimly lit living room. Geeze. Someone get me a black light already!
Wear: One day. I wasn't sure that I wanted raver nails for every day wear, so I opted for the glue-as-base coat method this time. (I must have gotten it a little thin around the edges, because there was still a little pink frame around my nails hours after the middle had flaked off. Let this be a lesson to you, kids!)
Disclaimer: This polish was provided for my honest opinion. You can buy Energize and Wired-Up at Mod Lacquer's Etsy store. The best part is that her Electrified collection comes in an entire neon rainbow! Eee!

Cerulean Light Beam
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Mod Lacquer - Cerulean Light Beam, two coats
TC: Seche Vite
Uggh, of course the day I want to wear a holo, a storm rolls in. It's been overcast all day yesterday and today. Curse you, fates! Above is a quick shot in a rare moment of not complete cloud cover, but the rest had to be taken inside. Here's even a picture I had to get out of the shower to take because I was enjoying it so much. :P
The formula was smooth, perfectly covered at two coats. It's got a nice linear holo and such a pretty ocean-blue color.
Wear: Seven days! Some minor tip wear starting on day four, but nothing noticeable until day seven when the chips started.

Sidewalk's End
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Literary Lacquers - Sidewalk's End, three coats
TC: Seche Vite
When I think of sidewalks, I imagine a color a few shades lighter than this, but that's fine. Maybe it's a rained-on sidewalk? Regardless, Sidewalk's End is a lovely medium grey linear holo. It was a little on the thin side, but it's perfect in three coats.
Wear: Five days until noticeable chipping. (Though I was on vacation and wore it way past that point. Shhhh... >_>)

Break the Ice, Princess
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Undies: Wet n Wild - Break the Ice (Megalast line), two coats
Glitter: Liquid Sky Lacquer - Ice Princess, one coat
TC: Seche Vite
Hmm.. ignore the weird hair that's just hanging out in all my pictures for some reason.
We've had a wonderfully mild spring, but now I fear it's over. Today we're looking at 90, and tomorrow will be our first 100 day. Ugh. I need some winter, so it'll just have to be on my nails. *sigh* Eventually it'll be fall again.
Wear: There was a paint balloon fight this mani didn't survive, so only two days this time.

Skyline Millionaire
The Polish:
Treatment: OPI - Nail Envy
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Undies: New York Color - Skyline Blue, two coats
Topper: Wet n Wild - Blue Wants to Be a Millionaire, two coats
TC: Seche Vite
Two from purgatory land, where I keep polishes for one last run before tossing them in the purge box. I had to force myself to put them on because I had already decided their fate.
Skyline Blue isn't really that bad of a polish. It's got a thin formula, but it's self-leveling if the second coat is generous. It just isn't my thing. I just don't do cremes. I need to recognize this.
Blue Wants to Be a Millionaire, however, is pretty much junk. It tricks you into thinking it'll be lovely with its scattered holo, but don't let it fool you. It's awful on its own, and not much better as a topper. It just sucks in general.
Purging both!
Wear: Removed on day three with some tip wear. Could have made it work for another day at least, but I was tired of it.

Tiny Tangerines
The Polish:
Treatment: OPI - Nail Envy
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Sonoma Bento - Tiny Tangerines, two coats
TC: Seche Vite
My nails are sad and peeling like it's mid-winter. Come on, guys, it's June! So I oiled them profusely and applied some Nail Envy. Hopefully that helps them get it together.
Tiny Tangerines is so freaking cute. I just love Sonoma Bento's crellies. She has a couple more on sale currently that I kind of want to get, but Airship is orange, and Flippin' Out is a very bright green... I think I may just have to stay with my safe light pink and nude. *blush*
Wear: Three days. I really really tried to keep it on until four, but once the chips started late evening of the third day, I began to scratch it off. At least I had enough sense in me to go get my scrubby tub instead of laying in bed destroying my nails.

Blue Eyed Kismet
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Main: Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer - PDTS 3.7 (prototype), two coats
Accent: Color Club - Kismet, three coats
TC: Seche Vite
Oh my goodness, you guys, I NEEDED some holo in my life. This shiny shiny makes me so happy. *sigh* I kind of wanted to do holo skittles, but I didn't trust the few holos that I have to go well together. So I settled on an accent nail. As it is, the Color Club is WAY more holo than the soft, delicate blue of the BEGL, which kinda throws me, but whatever. I need to get more Halo Hues...

My Blizzard Exactly
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Bread of the Sandwich (layers one and three): OPI - My Pointe Exactly
Jelly of the Sandwich (layer two): Sea Lore - Beluga Blizzard
TC: Seche Vite
(First two images show without second layer of MPE or top coat.)
Beluga Blizzard was on my short list to purge. The last time I wore it, I didn't really like it. I had worn two coats, though, so I decided that I needed to try it with one coat before I got rid of it.
Turns out one coat is way better than two, which makes my job all the more harder. It is kinda cute with one coat.. but it's got that weird shimmer thing going on.. I really like white glitters, but this one isn't my favorite. I have others I like better.
While wearing it, I kept waffling back and forth on whether to get rid or it or keep it, but I think I just need to purge it. It's nice, but I don't like it as much as my other ones. Out it goes.

Sleigh Bells in the Snow
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Fair Maiden Polish - Sleigh Bells in the Snow, two coats
TC: Seche Vite
I DO wish the holo on this were stronger. It would be so gorgeous if it were. As it is, it's still pretty, but maybe slightly boring. (What? Me calling a white shimmer boring? What's wrong with me?)
The last time I wore this, I had contemplated decanting it into a Megalast bottle for the better brush. Still considering.. I just hate to change an indie's bottle.. or any bottle, really.. I've only done it once, and that's because the brush was absolutely destroyed and there was nothing else to be done. Hmm... I'mma keep it in this bottle still for now. Maybe some time in the future.
I also want to do a comparison between this and Excelsior! They're pretty similar.
Wear: Five days, though some chips on day two? What? Hmm.. maybe Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is doing more damage to my nails than I thought it was. This was day three of BJJ, so we'll see... :/

Sugar Rush
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Sugar - Sugar Rush, two coats
TC: Seche Vite
I do enjoy this style. Very cute. I wonder how this one compares to the original Nails Inc. it's a dupe of. Seems like it might not have as much glitter as the original, though you can play around with it, as I did (unintentionally) with the ring finger.
I don't hear much about the Sugar brand when it comes to polish, though I've seen their clothes and shoes around before.. This is the only polish of theirs that I have; it came from Kohl's.

The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Sally Hansen - Nude Shimmer (Diamond Strength line), two coats
TC: None
Huh.. Why do I even have this color? It's totally not my style. Let's try it on anyway, shall we? Ignore the weird bubbles showing up in the bottle.
Uh.. no. Just no. Too pearly and brush stroke-y. Definitely not my color.
You know what? I have a friend who would appreciate this polish much more. Let's just give it to her. Purged.

Pink Spritz
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Color: Gap - Pink Spritz, two coats
TC: None
Don't let the good picture fool you, this polish has a pretty poor formula. It's streaky and the iridescent glitters are lumpy. It reminds me of that terrible grey franken I tried to make.
I could probably make it work with some matte between coats and some Gelous over the top, but I just don't care enough. Purge box.

Main: Rain City Lacquer - Moonlit Waves, two coats

Moonlit Waves is suuuuch a pretty. Gold and silver hexes and squares in the perfect blue jelly.
So sparkly!
I normally have trouble with tip wear on this one because I always forget to wrap my tips, and it starts to show after a day or two. But this time I remembered to wrap my tips, yay!

B. Adorable
The Polish:
BC: Revlon - ColorStay Base Coat
Sheer: L'Oreal - B. Adorable (Bijou Facets line), two coats
TC: Seche Vite
Hmm... nope. Don't think I like this one. It's just not doing anything for me. I bet it would B. great for a little girl who liked Elsa. It definitely looks like an Elsa type polish. Why don't I do more little girl nails?
Of course I COULD wear it over another polish, which is what it's meant for. It's meant to add an extra layer of shimmery, glittery cute to a creme. That's just not how I wear polish. Purge box.
Wear: Went on vacation and forgot to count.
